Looks like he's still leaving X-men though. He didn't seem to last that long on it compared to his Ultimate Spider-man, Daredevil and Avengers stuff though.

I wonder who will be taking over?

I do like Brian Bendis a lot. I have had a love/hate relationship with his work since I first discovered him on "Darerdevil". I just have never thought he was right for X-Men.

Bendis wasn't right for Moon Knight either.

The mental snapshot in my head of Bendis is from 10 years ago.

I just saw what he looks like now.

    The mother ####ing Thing.

    When did that happen?

Avengers #41. Well, that didn't take long. Kinda ruins one of my favorite moments from the last few years of comics... it was also pretty bizarre that the issue starred an Ultimate character...

I've liked Bendis's run on Uncanny X-Men, even if his All New X-Men has only been average. I hope they get someone good to replace him.

I feel mostly positive about Bendis-X-Men but the decompression really kills me sometimes.

Star Wars #2 was another excellent issue. It's so big and cinematic and it FEELS like the movies. The scenario in this one was just classic.

You'll be begging him to return if they reveal his successor to be someone like Humphries.

Maybe he can revamp FF next!

Oh Rao don't let it be Humphries. I still want to know what book G. Willow Wilson is supposed to get that she teased a couple weeks back at the retreat.

keep Bendis the hell away from the FF. in fact he should stay away from all team books.

I'd actually like him to tackle something like Dr. Strange. His take with Strange in Avengers or Magik in X-Men wasn't too bad. Maybe he can do Spider-Man next after Slott though judging by Bendis's Moon Knight it's not just team books that he is bad at. He may have just lost his writing mojo.

I'd like Bendis on F4. Except for the brief Future Foundation book that had She-Hulk, Scott Lang, medusa, etc, everything F4 related has been pretty bad since Hickman left. I think Bendis could do a solid F4 book.

I don't know exactly who I want on X-Men. Charles Soule would be cool, but he's probably not considered enough of a "name" by Marvel. I hope to god it isn't Hickman or Remender. I'd be happy with both of them just kind of fading away once Secret Wars starts.

I'd definitely go for Bendis on a Luke Cage or Fantastic Four series. Heck, I'd like to see him even go for something less profile these days like Cloak & Dagger.

    Oh, no.

Luke Cage leading the Fantastic Four?

Playing with the real Fantastic four is nice, but making weird new versions is also cool.

My lists from childhood assured me that Luke was already in the Fantastic Four in the 1970s, but really how long did that last?
