Ladies and Gentlebeings, hell has frozen over! https://twitter.com/bigfinish/status/362558834256007168/photo/1
Not an Adric fan at all, but that is a nice pic, especially as I recall he and Davison weren't exactly the best of buddies. Time and gray hair puts old disputes to rest, it seems (though it is only a pic, I know). Sir Rhosis
As long as he refrains from telling them the "proper" way to act on Audio everything should be fine...
My god he's a funny looking thing now. That haircut really isn't doing hi any favours. He looks like some sort of ape.
I was fortunate to be at a con with Davison and Fielding earlier this year. To be honest given the way she felt about him, I'm surprised they got them in the same room.
I thought that about the 80's haircut, till I saw those ears and realized at least the 80's haircut was covering them
I wonder if Big Finish could be persuaded to record and release an audio version of Waterhouse's notorious Hamlet.
Peter is the most unchanged of the actors. Poor Colin. Somehow, I thought Colin was taller than Peter--man was I ever wrong.
Of the first seven doctor, I think Sylvester has aged well too. Troughton looked pretty much the same in the 80s as he did in the 60s, Pertwee looked almost identical in the 90s a to what he did in the 70s, time with Tom hasn't been very generous, Davison has aged okay, Colin is unrecognisable, Sylvester hasn't aged since 1996, and time has been extremely generous to Paul McGann. In some ways, I think his very slight aging actually suits him. And he's 53 ye looks 43! And he's only two years younger than Capaldi but looks ten or even 15 years younger!!!
How well do Waterhouse and Tom Baker get along? With Elisabeth Sladen and Mary Tamm both sadly gone, this at least now opens up the possibility of some Four/Adric audio adventures between The Keeper of Traken and Logopolis. Could even throw in John Leeson as K-9 Mark III before Four gives him to Sarah.
I'm not trying to be funny but I wonder if Tom Baker's ex-wife would consider returning as Romana Two? Do they get along?
Anything but. From all I've heard, Tom and Lalla's divorce in the early 80's made the Beatles' breakup look serene in comparison, and there's still a lot of bad blood between them even today. Ward'll gladly play Romana and work with Leeson again (and has, in the Gallifrey spinoff series as well as several Companion Chronicles and a few of the later Doctor's audio episodes), but not with Tom. And as bad as that is, you still have a much better chance of getting Baker and Ward in the same room again than you EVER will with Ward and Waterhouse.
I was at the Project Motormouth 2: The Companions convention recently and apparently Waterhouse was asked and said there have been early discussions about him and Baker working together. Ward was also there but I doubt anyone dared to ask her - she is a very formidable lady in person! Everyone had a group photo taken with all the companions there so I have photographic evidence that Waterhouse and Ward were in the same room together at least though I didn't see any interaction between them.
