Curried vegetables (brocolli, green peppers, peas, chick peas, onions) with rice.

Today's spice selection included coriander, cumin, fennel, chilli, paprika, ginger, turmeric, star anise, black pepper, extra fennel (yes I made my own curry paste, and yes I love fennel :) )

A roast tonight. Kind of feels like a winter evening. Cold and overcast. We had turkey pieces, carrots, parsnips, onions, and mushrooms.

I think it's more to do with being hopeless bakers than anything else...

And you are always lovely, Aurian. :)

Last night was pasta and Falu-sausage. Very Swedish.

Tonight it was homemade, thing, crispy, Margherita pizza with cut peeled tomatoes, mozarella and olive oil drenched basil leaves as topping. Exquisite.

On the move today, but I've shunned the usual BK and Pumpkin shop sandwiches and opted for samosas. :bolian:

It's the pastry sort of Samoans. ;)
My mother used to make some good samosas. The secret is in getting the right mix of potato and pea. And to make it as spicy as is legally allowed. ;)

I'm at my parents' this week so am eating quite well. Last night was spaghetti & meatballs with my mom's "special" sauce. Tonight it's steak on the grill. :)

Two nights ago I had dinner at Denny's after seeing Star Trek for the third time. I had these fried BBQ chicken burrito things with fries that were great. Last night had BBQ Steak Tenderloin with Sweet Grilled Potato Salad. For dessert we had a Blueberry/Raspberry buckle pudding with vanilla ice cream.

Right. :) Am I supposed to cook the potato first before the samosas go into the frier? Because I remember mine turned out semi-raw on the inside. You know how long chips take in the frier and they're in direct contact with the oil, but the pastry would surely burn, or the whole thing go soggy, if left in that long.
