Megan Fox in Jennifers Body anyone going to watch or wait for the DVD? (Click on movie trailer at bottom)
Should have another option, wait for it to be on cable. I would probably dvr it if it was on hbo or something, but I wouldn't spend extra money to see it. Looks like they are trying to cash in on vampires (twilight) but for guys.
Yet another garbage movie excuse to show Fox naked. Terrible actress, will no doubt be a terrible movie.
Jennifer's Body looks terrible. Megan Fox? Minus the big, ugly, tats all over her nearly perfect body is hot.
I am a trashy horror movie fan (Um, duh.) so I will definitely see it at some point but I'm in no rush.
I don't care if Megan Fox is overrated and severely limited as an actress - I'm not going to be turned away from this movie just because she's in it. People shouldn't just dismiss a movie based on who is starring in it. While it's true that sometimes a bad actor can ruin what would otherwise be a good movie, who is directing and writing are generally more important facts to assess when deciding if a movie may be worth your time. I think the writer, Diablo Cody, has a very unique and potentially entertaining style of writing (if sometimes a little too cutesy and irritatingly trying too hard to be 'quirky') and based on how much I enjoyed it in "Juno" (aside from some excessive 'quirk-age'), I'm interested in this movie. I love a good horror movie, but find a lot of modern horror movies are really boring and uninspired in terms of characters and story. I believe Cody is capable of making both appealing in new ways, so I can imagine this movie turning out pretty good.
I'm still trying to figure out how this is a Buffy wannabe. It's like saying Wipeout is ripping off MXC, even though the latter is simply a comedy redub of a Japanese game show.
Pretty young girls, one determined to defeat the forces of darkness, a bounty of snappy one liners, fairly actiony, snappy horror, and the underlying angst of being in high school. That about covers it.
Speaking of ripping off Buffy, you can't get 'more Buffy' than adding "y" to a word in order to turn it into an adjective.
I, for one, am glad to see Megan Fox getting out from under Michael Bay's thumb and taking on hard-hitting roles like this that only an actress of her superior poise and talent could tackle. I suspect she'll be the Katherine Hepburn or Meryl Streep of her generation. I voted neither. This movie looks awful, and I already saw the only two parts worth seeing online last year.
Wow, the Megan Fox hate in here is palpable. Looks cheesy, but she's hot and I like horror flicks, so I'll go see it some afternoon. In the poll, at the moment, I appear to be the only one. Oh well, theatre all to myself.
