Fringe 4x10 - "Forced Perspective" (Live Commentary, Spoilers)

We're rapidly approaching the half-way point in this season, and it seems we're still going to be stuck in this new reality for a while yet. The promos for this ep looked promising, hopefully we'll learn more about Dr. Jones and his connection to Evil Nina.

Spoiler: William Bell

When Jean begins addressing Walter in a gravelly voice that sounds remarkably like Belly, we learn the late genius placed soul-magnets in her feed before his death. Walter runs screaming from the lab upon hearing his beloved cow talk like his old lab partner.

 

Cool, I was wondering if this reality would get around to addressing spoiler.

 

Well, Belly's only been mentioned once, and I keep hoping that J.J. might be able to talk Nimoy into appearing one more time. Doubtful, but one can hope.

 

roflol... oh man... after reading that spoiler, that image is going to be in my head all day...

Olivia should tell the Observer to go fuck himself and grow some hair.

 

I actually saw the Observer (September) twice on Broadway. Actually, it was Michael Cerveris, he was in the musicals "Tommy" and "Titanic". I also remember him from the tv series "Fame".

 

Heh, nice!

 

I figured that he had done something prior to this. I'll be interested to see if J.J. gets him to do an appearance on Alcatraz.

 

And what's with Liv and her headaches? I forget how she got drugged.

 

You know what, that guy will be a better person because of that.

 

That woman will be scarred for life!

 

On the replay, I found the face she made before she swallowed the pill to be hysterical.

 

Yeah, he was a tad cynical, wasn't he?

 

Heheh. I wish I could think of appropriate jokes (like in the scene with Austin Powers where the guy gets killed and Austin is cracking bad jokes) but I can't.

 

What was really interesting was the apparent speed that she drew that before it happened.

 

Oh wow, that was a particularly squishy way to go.

I wonder if we will catch a glimpse of the mysterious guy from last season's LSD ep tonight.
