Yeah, given the secrecy surrounding his role, that's my guess too. He's some sort of ultimate Terminator that has successfully infiltrated the human resistance avoiding all their detection methods. Even dogs don't notice he's a Terminator.

No he shoots her down at first then agrees to go along with it, in fact according to the deleted scenes it looks like the reason he was making bombs was to blow up Cyberdyne.

Finally got around to seeing the trailer. It looks awesome! Time travel, fanwank, nostalgia and explosions. Me likey

 

I'm looking forward to it. Finally seeing John Connor and Reese infiltrate Skynet's time displacement equipment and the battle leading up to it is something I've wanted to see for a long time.

I'm also a fan of alternate history so it'll be cool to see how different this timeline will be from 1984 with all the mucking about from the future.

(Also, I'm a bit biased: I absolutely LOVE Emilia Clarke )
