Gratz. Since I already own the Flyer I cant craft it myself, but collect the shuttle data anyway when I'm out lfarming data samples. I will offer the Delta Schematic as a reward for some fleet accomplishment. Not sure yet, what for exactly. :)

Considering the DPS of orbital Strike (which sucks - my main is an ENG) - as always - looks pretty, but leaves your enemies standing with nothing but a nice tan to show for it. ;)

In my experience, it usually gives them an "expose" which lets you cause massive damage with things like the phaser rifle's sniper shot. My guess is that's how it's intended to be used, not just as an "OMGSUPERWEAPON!"

Well, if you're trying to use orbital strike indoors, wouldn't it lose some oomph?

I would think you'd lose some atmospheric containment too. lmao

Been a busy day of crafting yesterday. First, my Delta Flyer which for obvious reason I've dubbed the Phantom:

Next, I dusted off the old Yorktown and outfitted her with Aegis equipment:

Turned of the visuals for the dish and engines since they look a little silly. Klingons better watch out!

I wish they'd change those visuals for the dish and engines, but I suppose some people like them.

Looks great, I can believe this ship as a refitted TOS connie for the 25th century.

It actually reminds me of a couple fan-made re-imaginations of the TOS Enterprise I've seen around here.

Edit: And while I couldn't go to opening day in San Francisco, one of my alts was there in spirit:

I used to make a game of taking a picture every time I found someone who thought they were playing James Cameron's Star Trek Online... ;)

I think the absolute most entertaining thing for me is the AI's use of Fire Suppression Device. If you give your science officer a fire extinguisher and a phaser, she will favor the extinguisher in the most absurd situations...

When I first noticed this phenomenon, I figured she was attempting to put out the plasma fire but simply had poor aim.

Then I noticed her shooting a Klingon with it once...

And yet another time she was spraying me with the fire extinguisher instead of using her tricorder to heal me!

    >_<
