    Yes the Star Trek Strategic Operations Simulator..I blew many a quarter in this puppy... and if you look past the dated graphics (state of the art for 1982)..great gameplay..

    It also came in the sit down cabinet version were you sat in on the captains chair with the weapons on the right are and the direction control on the left.

    You can get this very game through Mame, although i don't remember the motion picture music playing in the background.

    but yeah good game for its time.

    Ya know... not that I'm suggesting anyone DO this unless you own original arcade hardware which no longer functions... but if you use M.A.M.E. you can run this game in its exact arcade form today. For a LOT less than it would cost to buy this thing. Just a passing, random thought...

    Re: A Blast from the past.. FASA stuff

    I've got 'em all... well, except for the blueprint sets. I really enjoyed the FASA stuff. Anyone who enjoys old-fashioned non-computer role-playing games... these are good stuff!

    I'm one of those people who hangs on to stuff I enjoyed. I'm sure that someday, when I die, the folks who are responsible for clearing out my collection of stuff will have NO IDEA what any of it was really worth. (or how much I paid for all this crap! ;) )

    I actually have the complete FASA ship collection sitting on a shelf in my den (along with the nearly-identically-scaled Gamescience stuff and some Amarillo stuff as well).

    I'm sure you may remember playing the home versions of this game released in 1983 and early 1984, such as:
    * Atari 2600 VCS/Sears Video Arcade
    * Atari 5200 Super System
    * Atari 8-bit (400, 800) / XL (1200XL, 600XL, 800XL) computers
    * Apple IIe
    * ColecoVision
    * Commodore VIC-20
    * Commodore 64
