    Rising or sinking???

So does Scotty turn the deflector dish into a wave motion gun, like on Space Battleship Yamato :p

It's a fan-made one. The artist made it and posted it here when the first trailer descriptions started popping up. It's really cool.

Ooh, good point! Still, I do feel justified in arguing that, for the general viewing public, coffins don't have windows. But I could be wrong. :)

Saw the teaser again tonight when I went to see The Hobbit. To my surprise the titlecard didn't feature the words Star Trek. So it looks like that Paramount in some ereas in Europe might try to sell this as just a SF flick instead of a Star Trek movie. A strange choice.

    Perhaps.

Nick Tarabay seems to be a good candidate for a young Khan given his ethnic background and physique. He's in the cast and is currently uncredited.

I find it funny, than on IMDB, Urban's character is listed as "Bones" rather than McCoy, Leonard McCoy or Doctor McCoy. Similarly it's "Scotty" rather than Montgomery Scott.

IMDB takes shortcuts with the listings sometimes. I've seen similar things happen before on the site.

I found it funny because even Sulu and Uhura get their full names.

    This is interesting.

Nick Tarabay's name has been removed from the cast list on IMDb.

    Hmmm...

Sounds like either A) his scene got cut from the final script or B) his presence on the cast list in the first place may have been the product of wishful thinking on the part of some IMDb user?
