I just had to mention that when I went in to pick up this at Borders their trek section had dwindled to exactly sixteen books, four of which were Lost Souls. Which, of course, was next to an entire case of Star Wars books.
Glad to see someone else has this problem. I went to find Gods Of Night at one here in the Twin Cities and passed them all together. I asked someone where the Star Trek section was and she was less helpful than if I'd asked a potted plant. There were maybe 20 books max, only 1 Destiny book. It was two or three cases from the Star Wars section (which itself was smaller), not sure what the other cases btw them had, I think D&D books.
If the situation stays the same, I think you should start a whole new thread. Borders in Richfield, right?
I was astonished that I was able to pick up book three today. The others came much closer to their actual month of release.
Book three arrived this morning from my comic and SF supplier. I will start reading this evening and am very much looking forward to it. The teasers and spoilers I have just read made me even more curious.
I got mine today too. Spoiled myself by looking through. Now I see why some of you hate Barnes and Noble. I never received a phone call or email from them, which I'm sure there will be one later on tonight coming in at 12, but you know I wasn't waiting any longer. Since i heard Books A Million had them, I checked the one closest to me and they had like maybe 5 copies. So I will start it here soon.
I'm still waiting for an email or phone call from Barnes and Noble. I did, however, pick my copy up there. They had my copy at the register. For Over a Torrent Sea, I think I'll just call Barnes and Noble and Borders close to the date to see if it's in.
I have my copy next to me on my desk and I'll start reading it sometime this afternoon. As for Lost Souls, I'll see if I can find it on the web so I can get it ASAP or I'll just order it through the same book shop and then hopefully get it this side of Christmas.
Amazon emailed me earlier today informing me that I will be getting Lost Souls mid-December, so I should have it in time for my holiday to Texas, and it'll make my 10 hour flight go that little bit faster
Holiday in Texas? Lucky sod. I got a similar e-mail. On a related note, still nothing relating to the latest CoE paperback...
I got my hands on the book today. But I still need to finish the RA Salvatore Drizzt book I'm reading and MM before I can get to it though.
