This makes me deliriously happy every time I watch it. I have been listening to this album almost non-stop all week. Al has really outdone himself this time. But I hadn't seen the video yet - yay! I'm currently listening to The Trumpet of the Swan, A Novel Symphony for Actors and Orchestra. It was a performance at the Kennedy Center in March. The music was composed and directed by Jason Robert Brown, and characters were narrated by the likes of John Lithgow, Kathy Bates, Mandy Moore, and Martin Short. It is nothing short of glorious. If you have kids, this would be a great way to introduce them both to the story as well as to the glory of the symphony. It's very reminiscent of Peter and the Wolf.
