It read as 90 F on my car gauge a few minutes ago. I want my cuddly sweats weather, in other words somewhere in the 50s.
I'm assuming "pants" as in trousers, not underwear. I don't think RoJoHen is going commando. Then again, I don't know RoJoHen personally, so....
You're lucky. We just had two days of 101 degrees, yesterday was 95 and today is 91. I'm in complete agreement with RoJoHen. I HATE the summer time. And, having cerebral palsy makes the summer even harder. The heat increases the pain in my knee joints, which in turn causes me to need more of the meds I take for that.... Well, you get the idea.
Yippee. When I was younger, I loved the Summers and heat. Now that I'm a little bit older, I look forward to the Autumn season. ;-)
I hope we don't go from upper 90s to lower 60s within one week. I'd like to have a little bit of Fall.
In Colorado we went from 90's on Sunday to the 70s on Monday and the 60s with rain on Tuesday. Lots of rain. Consistent, pounding rain. Big chunks of the Denver metro area are flooding.
Yeah, but some transition would be nice. You know, a couple weeks in the 80s, then 70s, etc. We're supposed to have a cooling trend next week. The LOW 90s. Lol! Last night at 10pm, it was 80. Sigh. Mornings are nice, though. About 75 at 7am. That's kinda cool, right?
I guess I'm the only one, but I am definitely NOT ready for cooler weather! I am known by friends and family for always being the coldest one in the room, shivering when others are sweating. I don't hit a level of comfort until the temperature is about 85F or above. And I HATE the wind, so I definitely do not like fall or spring, which I just call the windy seasons. I like winter for the holidays and coziness, but I do not like the cold, it just hurts my bones. And although I appreciate the rainy, gray weather for about a couple of weeks, any longer than that and it starts to mess with my mood, making me devolve from a contemplative melancholy to downright depressed. I guess I just need those shining sun rays to thrive.
I am revelling in the cool gray that has just blanketed Seattle. It makes me appreciate the turning leaves.
Wow! Last week it was 100 degrees and completely dry. Today it's in the 50s and raining! Quite the change. No wonder I got sick!
Omg! Summer seems to be ending! Highs in the lows 90s for the rest of the week, and maybe even in the mid 80s in a week! Good, cause my electric bill has been taking a beating.
Its in the 80s here in Kabul finally. Still pretty warm during mid-day (like right now) but the nights are definintely getting cooler. I hope we start to see snow on the mountains within the next 2 months.
