I genuinely enjoyed the movie. It had its dumb and weak moments, but it was a solid adventure film and plenty of fun.

I was looking forward to a 3.75 inch line of ST:ID action figures from Hasbro, but those plans didn't last very long.
I wonder how much the lack of merch...burger king glasses, toys, posters, etc. affected ticket sales in the U.S. I mean they advertised pretty heavy on tv, but that stuff tends have an effect.
