Coincidentally, I was just making some Janeway icons. Here's a sexy one - the scene from Caretaker with just a little change up in the lighting and color. The bun is not visible.

 

I was THRILLED when I heard Kate Mulgrew was cast as Janeway as I'd always found her EXTREMELY sexy in a classy manner as well as well-spoken and just plain gorgeous!

In my mind, she and Gates McFadden are epitome of sexy Trek women: brainy, beautiful and classy! No catsuits or any of that hokey garbage! Not unlike my Mrs.!

 

Plus they're both gingers.

 

Do I need to bust out with my newfound favorite ship? Janeway/Crusher FTW!

 

They do pair off really well, actually. Smart, scientific, classy, shiny hair.

Gates and Kate are my favorite Trek ladies.

 

I just had to gather up all the little pieces of my head after it exploded. My brain simply couldn't contain that level of awesomeness.

Is Janeway sexy?

Women are sensual and filled with sexual energy.
After watching all of Voyagers' episodes through the years- I've come to realize and appreciate Janeway's stealthy, sexual attitude.
It had to be different for her. Appearing in every episode she usually was required to 'have it on' time-after-time. This procured a brighter, more erotic series.
Without dealing extensively with put-ons, her attitude was clearly
--- "You can come closer and lay with me- if you dare." This is something 'Q' would be the first to admit.
Whether being disturbed or challenged by Seven or tempted emotionally by Capt. Kashyk and Prax in 'Counterpoint', she set them at a distance which required both delicacy and wisdom.
Because of these characters artfully and sexually deployed, Voyager is by far the best Star Trek series.

I always thought she was sexy in "Resistance" when she pretends to be a hooker to get a guard to leave his post.

 

That's a good one. I also like seeing her butch up in "Macrocosm".

 

Janeway was sexy whenever she was out of uniform and away from that school teacher bun of steel.

But even then she had an allure that was captivating.

And Kate is sexy 24/7

 

Gorgeous hair, eyes, voice and of course "do it." makes it all come together.

 

The smoking croak is of course a defect cased by damage. Odd isn't it that a less broken kate might be perceived as less attractive because her voice is too "mousey".

 

Some people find tattoos, piercings, and scars sexy. Those are technically "damage" as well.
