Yep, I did indeed mean some animations. :)

I'm still working on my TOS E model, but I've been busy lately, too. I'm building it stock, though... even though I keep changing the way the nacelle domes look, to suit the way I always remembered them looking... which is nothing like the way they look on TV. It's weird. :)

I think it's the lighting causing the difference. Karanua and Dave Metlesits both are good internet friends of mine... I usually make sure they get my models right after I finish them up, for conversion. :)

    That's a good thing, right? :)

Alright, guys.... here's a sample animation. I'll have to do something else with the nacelle domes, though... they look a little off.

And here's something else I was working on. It's only about have done, almost no post processing or anything, but I thought ya'll might get a kick out of it.

Wow...I'm sitting here with this goofy smile on my face...those are great! :)
I hadn't seen that spherical-hulled 4 nacelle ship in the big multi flyby...
    That was cool...

Nice! That thing looks like it could hold 3 times the crew of the Enterprise.

Hmmmmm, that big fat ship, the Archon... she is intriguing. She calls to me and I feel a stirring in my loins!

I would like to see some more development in the stacked nacelles. But, it's hard to describe what I'm thinking in words, so I'll SHOW you what I'm thinking with interpretive dance:

(Or, you could just post some nice dead-on side and rear views of those nacelles, and I'll print 'em out and sketch on them...)

It's ok... I tried about 8 different ways to hook the nacelles together, but nothing looked as good as what I ended up with. I wanted to stay true to the "kitbash" thing I was trying to do. :)

Oh, the layout of the hookup is fine, I LIKE it!

I'm thinking that some slight additions of specific detail will add the sizzle and sell the concept!

BUMP! I know this is an old thread I coincidentally came across this thread while searching pics of the DS9 Defiant.

I have seen this rendition for the very first time and it is just plain AWESOME!

While it has grown on me, it took me a while to get used to the Abrams Enterprise. But this Defiant-A is what the Abrams Enterprise SHOULD have been. This couldn't be any more perfect!

You could place the top and bottom halves on an even wider saucer--layering like a ziggurat

The Daedalus like ship--the dark band with windows--that might look nice on very large secondary hulls--in place of where the pennant area to either side of the dish.
