Not sure why but Astronaut Wives sounds kind of interesting, as long as they chronicle the Astronauts from back in the 60s, not today. Strange Calls could be interesting (or incredibly lame), and I love Jim Gaffigan, so I'm up for that. Also, I'm not sure we need more NCIS. Granted, I'm new to the original NCIS, which I like, and I've never seen NCIS Los Angeles, but another one?

Secrets and Lies was ordered to series? A miniseries because that sounds like a lame TV show.

A lot of these shows don't sound very good. Of course, if you boiled most shows on the air now down to one sentence descriptions I'm sure they'd sound pretty cheesy or terrible too. What's up with all of the police procedurals? I'm so over that genre.

Another racially charged murder? It sounds like fun, but do we really need another white person "I don't hate black people" and a black family outraged about a perceived or real injustice. Yawn.

Eh, only 2 out of that list really seemed like worth me checking out. Interested in Forever and How I Met Your Father.

And of that, Forever already sounds like it goes half a season, ratings suffer, and it's cancelled. Really would just prefer they had kept New Amsterdam a few years back, same idea this time except a doctor instead of a cop...

I read the book this is based on. It is about the astronauts in the 1960s, and I think it has a lot of potential to be a great series. I do wonder what some of the astronauts and their wives who are still alive think about it, though.

I'm sure I'm going to watch How I Met Your Dad, even though I'm disappointed in the way How I Met Your Mother went downhill in its later seasons.

Judging by that "thumbnail description", Sea Of Fire sounds just like Twin Peaks. Although I would suggest that it probably isn't.
