You know in the most recent Ask Cryptic they mentioned that Fleets are getting their own starbases at some point.

Just made Rear Admiral, Lower Half, and got myself a Sovereign-Class as a reward. Each ship I have is named in some way in honor to Trek. This time, it's the USS Columbia.

If you want to join up at some time I'm "Chris@WhammyBuster".

My record is 55 minutes. With a PUG, I'd expect 90-120 minutes. You'll either cruise through it, because people know what they're doing, or it will be painful as pulling teeth and you'll never beat the last room. It's really one or the other, because unfortunately, just one idiot can mess EVERYTHING up.

We got lucky in the last room. And by lucky, I mean multi million dollar lottery lucky. We got the Queen out of her hidey hole, but 4 of us died leaving one in the room with her. Funny thing was, we kept putting stuff down right next to the forcefield at the door (turrets, drones, etc) and managed to hold her agro on us even though we weren't the threat anymore. That one part of the fight took probably 45 minutes since it was just the one guy.

Question, has anyone used the Breen Transphasic Cluster Torpedo? And if so what do you think of it?

Personally, I'm undecided. Thinking I might just go back to having a quantum in the aft and forward slot like I've used, well... forever now.

I like it. It's like having a group of mines you can target to deploy.

yeah, i do like that since I usually have quantum mines, but the Breen weapon doesn't seem to do as much damage. Maybe I just need to put some points into transphasic weapons.

Today 4 of us Armada members will go on a STF Raid: Infected.
We still got one more spot to fill.
If you are interested notify me or Aelius.
Exact time is not 100% determined yet. Probably around 6pm EST.
We will use Steam for audiochat during the mission. SO it would be most effective if you have Steam plus a headset as well.

I tried it on my aft, but i have no skill towards mines, so it really didn't do much, i don't use mines at all, went back to two quantums in my aft.

That`s one way of doing it. lol
    For the future do this:
When you blow the generator and the Queen awakes, all get to the Borg alcoves on the far wall opposite the door.
As long as you all stand in it, the alcove frames will protect you from the blue circle of death. That`s pretty much the only viable weapon she has, to make your weapon discharge with lethal force at your team mates.
Once that threat is renderd useless it`s a walk in the park to finish her off and be home at ESD for supper.. with a brandnew anti-borg-rifle.

Who's addicted to Dabo?! *raises hand*

Oh, and right now I'm posting to you from a point during the "What Lies Beneath" mission. Gotta say, really liking it so far. It's got a very creepy feel to it.

I'm going to have a go at that mission tonight with both my Federation Characters. Not levelled enough to do it with my Gorn yet.

Yeah and considering how close to Halloween it was released it was perfect for that time of year, of course now I have that creepy song stuck in my head.

I have like 2 million bars of latinum after cashing in all my old sci consoles, and it doesn't seem like the risks/payout of dabo scales that high. It's like playing penny slots, no fun at all. Even if you win big, it still amounts to a rounding error.
