To my knowledge, the model was never auctioned off. As a matter of fact, the only kitbashed model ever to be auctioned was the Voyager/Maquis kitbash U.S.S. Yeager from Deep Space Nine.

I'd love to build one of these. Are the two classes of submarine the same scale?

Aside from the sub hulls, everything else was scratch-built from sheet styrene and spares-box fiddly bits. It's amazing what you can do with some Evergreen sheet and an X-acto. And a lot of 180 to 600 grit emery paper.

How the typhoon conning tower base linked to the nacelle support struts was inspire. The artist who calls himself Feyman Shipyards had an idea for have nacelle support struts connect with warp nacelles made of airliners--at the aerodynamic wing root structure along the fuselage.
