Kindle books: Stephen King The Wind Through The Keyhole (Dark Tower vol. 4 1/2) Christopher Star Trek: Department Of Temporal Investigations - Forgotten History
Went to my book store to pre-order The Hydrogen Sonata only to find I was way too early for it While there I picked up a couple of other volumes that had arrived for me: Greg Bear: The forge of God. & Stephen Baxter: Evolution (I'm actually a bit surprised by the size of this one ).
I followed some friends to Bedrock City comics, fully expecting to be bored silly, but found something I simply HAD to have. This cute-patootey: Not only is it Sallah, who is played by my much-beloved John Rhys-Davies, but it's from Indiana Jones (Last Crusade, this one). I love anything and everything associated with Indy. Plus, it's so damn freakin' CUTE! We went out to lunch, and I had to take him out of the box, so he could have Mongolian Stir Fry with us. You know, as you do.
Some weekend groceries, gas for the car and made a quick trip past a fast food joint for some dinner.
Found Buffy DVD box sets for seasons 2-7 at Goodwill today for 6.96 apiece. I'd love to replace the covers with something custom and slimmer, but my favorite RixGrafix hasn't done Buffy though, so I'm not sure what I might do.
Picked up a new, officially unreleased multipack of STAR WARS figures from my friend's toy shop this morning. Also got some breakfast and gas for the car on the way back.
My umbrella is arriving today It is going to cover my picnic table which enjoys some shade up until about noon - after that its exposed to direct sunshine during the hottest time of the day. I also bought some white string lighting to weave around the fence so we can brighten up the evening out there.
