    ;)

A lot of the same things didn't seem to hurt Steven Spielberg. But then Steven is a better director than George even when Lucas has been at his best.

I have his action figure. They did a "Lucas Family Collector Set" featuring pretty well-made figures of the four characters that the Lucas family played in Episode III.

His adopted son Jett played the teenage Padawan who slices up a few blue Clones of the 501st and then is prompty gunned down. It's the scene where Bail Organa rushes to the Jedi Temple to investigate the Clones' attack.

    :p

That does it. Get out there and finish tending to the moisture vaporators before it gets dark. The Troll People will be out soon and we don't want anybody hurt.

I don't see what was wrong with Neeson in TPM.

Neeson is pretty much always great no matter what he does.

Liam wasn't bad, but I used him as a midpoint in the deterioration of George's directing chops. You go from Dreyfuss knocking it right out of the park in 1973 to Neeson (mostly okay) then the wooden performance he coaxed out of poor Natalie in Episode III when the girl deserved better material and a chance to shine.

Back to the OT-- The second issue of Dark Horse comics Star Wars, written by Brian Wood and taking place in the weeks post-ANH, has Leia wistfully watching old travel vids of Alderaan and makes mention that she hasn't had time to properly grieve her loss. I would bet that there will be a similar moment for Luke regarding Owen and Beru as well at some point.

The writers of tie-in media often try to finesse the goofs and oversights of the screenwriters.

They also tend to have the advantage of more story-telling space.
