No idea, but that sounds like an interesting page. It's been ages since I've done any 3D work (stupid laptop).

it's fix now. It's a good forum for 3D scifi, but I like to read here for Star Trek stuff too.

Here you go. I linked directly to the downloads page, but there's a forum, too, as well as some other stuff.

Earlier today I was just getting a blank page, but now my work firewall is blocking it for "Phishing, Malicious Downloads". :(

Yeah, I just discovered why Sci-Fi Meshes isn't working. Evidently, a group of Muslims with a need for attention hacked it, and has blocked all of the proper content (or deleted? Oh lord, I hope the site manager made a back-up). I've been looking through their archives for months now (lots of cool stuff, a good portion of which is Star Trek related), so I kept coming back all week, with no progress, hoping it would get fixed. Looks like that might take a little longer than I was hoping.
Now, I'm as willing to take a listen to their argument as the next person, but they're doing it in the wrong forum! Which I think is bull by the way, because I believe that their God Allah is probably the same God as the Hebrew and Christian God (or members of the same extraterrestrial race, if your Ancient Astronaut theorist, but then, maybe I've been watching too much Ancient Aliens on H2).

What does one have to do so that TrekBBS offends Al Qaeda hackers as well?

It could be anything, not even muslim...just an ass that want peoples to hate muslim. Either way, it doesn't make them clever. It just show how much they like to waste their talents in vanity, and profit their narcissim.

Ya know what, the very same thought occurred in the back of my mind. I mean, why would some Islamist hate group want to target a science fiction 3D modeling site, of all things? I mean, if they have no love for the western religions, wouldn't it make more sense to target sites of religion? Either way, I have no respect lost for Islamist/Muslim culture. Though if the entire database was wiped, I'm going to be pretty pissed, no matter how I slice it.

You would think they would go after rt or Fox...

Word to any hackers from the islamofascist bent--this is not a good way to recruit folks who might like to build rockets for you--since they probably liked scifi-meshes too..just FYI.

Oh and you were too slow to get on Gerald Bull's good side before the Mossad capped him, so try being nice to folks who like cool spacecraft before you strangle them with your burkhas.

I can get there though it goes straight to the forums.
(In the past I seem to remember there being a front page with links to galleries etc, but it's been a long time since I've visited)
