Now ... thanks to teacake, your thread - your thread - lives! Just like Star Trek ... Frodo ... and the rest of the gang. Hopefully, this time, many others will follow your example and demonstrate their poetic talents ... for all to see!

 

There once was a young man named Mudd,
Whose schemes were always a dudd.
Whether love drugs or androids,
And ships crews he annoyeds,
He must have descended from Fudd.

 

Well, I gave it a try in the other Poetry thread, 'Frakes, but I am with you...I am glad this one is alive...and if I was not clear, I thought your earlier poem was excellent!!!

 

Most kind, sir! Yes, when you've got a cutey's image associated with an idea you're trying to convey, it does all of the selling for you. And if she's got elvish ears, then the lottery's been won!

... I get on top
and get it over with quick.
Jump in the Sonic Shower,

We have hundreds and millions down here on the ground.
But where can the enterprise toilets be found.

The CATSPAW dilemma
Our top four are on planet,
But Uhura's a gal
Keep her off the chair
By promoting DeSalle.

Set your phaser cannon to "kill"
Waited til I dropped my shields,
And then you fired at will!

Is it another man? What is it then?
I know I've got the genitals of a dog
But late at night, making sweet love
You never made like something's wrong!

Now, I know I can be a jealous guy
With Men looking you up and down
You know it's only gonna get worse
without you having me around!

What about all those special things
you know I always did for you.
Don't end this for me now, sweets,
We've still got lots more to do!

I know you and your girlfriends
are laughing loud, at my expense.
Kes, think about what you're doing
Because you're not making sense!

A Warlord, unkind, had entered your mind
Filling your empty head with such thoughts
When he fled, you left - all without regret
Losing me this battle, one I never fought!

See this, what you're putting me through -
In the Fetal Position - can even you know?
Tears stinging orange eyes like citric acid
Kes ... I don't THINK so!!!

The goo glows yellow
On my skin tonight
Not a lover to be seen
A bedroom of isolation

A swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep this goo in
Heavens know I tried..

Be the good girl you always have to be
Sedate
Don't mate
Don't let him know..
Well now he knows!

Can't hold it in anymore
Let it goo, let it goo!
Neelix let's do it on the floor!
I don't care what they're going to say
Let the hormones rage on..
The goo never bothered me anyway

If my wife ever knew,
Logic suggests what she'd do:
she'd take our toddler in tow
and turn our divorce into a show.

I can't not raise my boy!
He's my pride. He's my joy.
Mandy, though - you're my love.
And soon, our day will come!

Replicate a hot Earl Grey, encore
And out into the corridor

Power flowing, Techno-Festing

As I walk her hallowed halls
Imagining all behind her walls
Magnitudes of complication
Subtle thresholds of vibration

Can one command such might?
I ponder, rightly, in the night
How did it ever come to be
That man, that plan, would include me?

A staff and crew above all others
Exploration, rejuvenation, bases covered
Five Year Mission exactingly planned
Orders given, regions scanned

As I walk these halls of Power
In solitude, at this late hour
My tea is cold, my Orders bold
We Warp for areas untold.
