Well, they weren't very pretty but they did taste good. Hubby forgot to take them with him this morning. I hope they won't be too stale by tomorrow. But then again, I'm sure the office staff and grad students won't be that picky. I think I let the frosting get too warm, which made it a bit too thin. Maybe next time, I'll just get some icing and practice on a sheet of tin foil or something. eta: took some pics of Junior the other day, as he refused to get off my keyboard. Wonder if the hubs left them home on purpose? "Sorry honey, I forgot to take the. Guess we'll just have to eat them ourselves!" (I would.) Funny how cats appear where you most have to pay attention to them - he's darling!
Oh, no. Hubby has no interest in cakes and cupcakes---the freak. He just has a memory like a sieve. Junior thanks you for the compliment. He is pretty damn cute. He is a GIANT kitty--a Maine Coon--but he's also pretty tubby and very, very fluffy.
