Why has the Janeway tag been removed from all threads?

Since this thread is still tagged 'janeway' I think the probe droids are not behind this attack.

What is a more damaging concussive force?

Reentry, sorry... "Entry" from orbit, or blaster fire?

there's no frakking way that thing could be unphased by smashing into the side a planet but blow up when... Chewie and Han were taking potshots, becuase their hand weapons couldn't even get though storm trooper armour.

I liked it on Stargate that they explain how the jaffar staff weapons produces a microwave emission that cooks its target from the inside along side the heat and concussion.

How did they remove genre babe of the week?

If it was a question of size, maybe whatever criteria nixed that, janeway fell foul to too?

If I had admin control, I would have it so that when ever some one tried to publish the words highlander II, would actually would be produced would be "Expletive deleted".

It was removed because it looked tacky on the front page, there was an endless TNZ thread about the threads themselves. I think if it had never ballooned to take over the tag cloud it wouldn't have gotten that attention though.. so maybe size does have something to do with it?

If I had one week the place would be in fabulous ruins.

They got back to you about your query?

And the answer "She is is Tacky"

Well dang, they might as well just burn down the whole freaking forum.

This is very thesis of democracy vs. fascism.

Although this is clearly not a democracy.

But the tag cloud demonstrates the mind and will of the people.

It seems that the mind and will of the people is distasteful and should be squashed?

    I'd probably agree with that.

No, no one has gotten back to me. When I said "it was removed" I meant the "babe of the week tag".

I have heard nothing. And it seems the perfectly lucid thread you started south of here no one could be bothered thinking about for long enough to address, so it was shut down.

    The tag mystery remains.

    Lucid?

I misspelled "Cloud" in the headder.

They had no fucking idea what a tag Coud was.

Speaking of annoying mysteries, I just noticed that the words "Star Trek" in my last post upthread were automatically linked to ebay. I know I didn't link that myself. That's a fairly obnoxious way to advertise.

That link doesn't seem to show up in all browsers. It doesn't in Dolphin, but it does in Android's built-in browser.

You should report that, it sounds like a hack.

Tia Carrera looks like a surgery accident.

(Joined the cast of In Plain Sight.)

Then, Mike Myers looks like a bowl of pudding even without the fat bastard suit.

10 percent that it's possibly a hack, 70 percent that it's someone in power here making money off the website, which is fine, since my wallet is staying in my back pocket and the folkes in charge have to pay for their steak dinners somehow.

Oh, good, I thought it was a new scheme deliberately put in place by this board. It might just be this particular browser, or maybe I've managed to pick up some adware on my tablet. Anyone else seeing these links to Ebay on Android?

LOL, now the word "ebay" is linked. Gahh!

5 percent, you're forgetting shit because you drink too much.

7 percent, people in your house are using your PC.

4 percent, Time travel or ghosts.

2 percent you're lying for sympathy

8 percent fine print to shit you actually agreed to but didn't read completely.

    OK.

Do you remember that TNG episode called Parallels?

Passed through any fixed points across the spacetime continuum lately?

So does that mean that there are two teacakes? They fought for the right to be the only Teacake, until there was only one? Or some foreign Teacake has enveloped our teacake while bridging universes integrating into a super composite Teacake?

I don't even see the point of tags, much less a tag cloud. The only time it was useful was to quick link to all the Babe of the Week threads.

If you weren't cool, so fucking cool, and you needed some help, help to be hip... Tags.

(I don't see the point either. I don't want to be cool.)

The point of contention, is that someone or something decided to segregate Voyager from the rest of the Trek BBS. Someone or something decided that Kathryn Janeway was too beautiful, strong, wise and plain awesome that she's not allowed to exhibit how superior she is compared to not just the other Starship Captains, but every other topic on these boards.

Adolf Hitler cried when Jesse Owens won the Gold Medal for the 100 meters in Berlin 1936.

He was heard to blubber "It's not fair, it's not fair racing these cheetahs against my supermen."

    True Story.

    (Seriously. True Story. History Channel.)

It's true, she is too great for tags. But we who vie to sit at her right hand want her to be recognized so that her glory can be reflected onto us. What is the good of being in her court if her court is invisible?

But it's too late to say you're sorry. How would I know, why should I care? Please don't bother tryin' to find her. She's not there.
