Are we talking about the vegetable or Reg Barclay? Broccoli is wonderful when properly prepared, and is my favorite vegetable. Of course some folks don't like it, but that means there's more for me!
We're talking about Albert R. Broccoli whose name fascinated me throughout my teen years at the end of James Bond movies. Why was his last name Broccoli? What had it been like in school being named Broccoli? Did he himself eat broccoli?
I've never managed to sit all the way through any James Bond movie, so I have no idea what character you're referring to.
He's the producer, he produced like a gazillion of the things. His name appears in the credits and is probably the main thing I remember about any of the movies.
I'd suggest going from the beginning. Take the good with the bad. I just finished the show myself. Looking back on it all, a lot of the episodes I was critical of in the earlier seasons are much better than I gave them credit for originally. I was extremely harsh on that first season, but I think that has a lot to do with me jumping into VOY immediately after finishing DS9 (there were other reasons too....). It took awhile for me to adapt to the episodic style of VOY, but once I became used to the format I mostly enjoyed it. I personally thought the last two seasons were the strongest (although that view isn't held by many other fans), but there's still plenty to enjoy in the earlier seasons. So, once again, I'd recommend you watch all of it and formulate your own opinions. You might find you really like certain episodes that aren't so popular with the mainstream crowd.
But who is the mainstream crowd? When I talk to Trek fans out in.. the street.. (okay, at cons and bookstores) I am always gobsmacked at how they love all these characters and episodes that are held in very dim view around here. I guess they haven't been slow poisoned by years of internet shrieking.
Well that just reinforces what I said. We fans will never agree, which is why the creator of this thread should watch them all and decide for himself what he likes. I loved Barge of the Dead, although I don't think that episode would make many other fan's top 10 lists...
Didn't particularly like Barge/B'Elanna or Seven first time VOY on...now love both of them. Guess tastes change, mature

I agree with most of AllStarEntprise's episode list. Bride of Chaotica never did it for me though. I would add: -The 37s (S2) -False Profits (S3) -Innocence (S2) -Worst Case Scenario (S3) -Mortal Coil (S4) -The Q and the Grey (S3) -Q2 (S7) I'm a Q fan~ The J/C in me wants to recommend Coda and Resolutions even though they aren't the best episodes.
Thanks! Where is it from, did you do it yourself? And lurok yes tastes change, mine get broader in most everything. Practically everything I disliked on first runs of Trek I like just fine now (Vic Fontaine I'm looking at you).
I gained an appreciation for Vic after seeing the Time Tunnel and realizing that even though he was making money as an actor, Bobby actually took the time to step aside and learn how to act at some point in the next 30 years. (Fry made that joke about Walter Koenig.) Bill Mumy and Bobby Darren in the same episode???!!! "Hey? If you had to chose, would you rather be lost in space or lost in time?" That would have been a fantastic debate between the two of them, What do you mean "What's The Time Tunnel?"? "I'm drinking with children."
You made me search my gmail. On September 8th last year a friend of mine mentioned the Time Tunnel in a trollish post on some other forum and then he had to explain it and the Vic connection to me because I was too undeducated to get it. So that factlet is almost in my brain.
I think I've only ever seen three episodes of The Time Tunnel. And two of those were identical to the third one.
I saw all 30 recently and they were awful. (Time Tunnel & Lost in Space were Both produced and conceived by Irwin Allen. They're almost like the same show... Oh and Land of the Giants ditto. ) The unintentionally most hilarious bit was in the very last episode, they have the same bat time, same bat channel shite:NEXT WEEK ON TIME TUNNEL... And they give a preview to the first episode ever, like the series is caught in a huge frakking temporal loop. Time Tunnel makes VoyagerS look like it was produced by Stephen Bocho.
One of my earliest tv memories is of Land of the Giants, someone was killed by a GIANT SPIDER after being caught in its GIANT WEB. There was a lot of screaming.
