The snow finally melted enough to allow me to replace the Mailbox that was destroyed by the maniacal snow plow. I had to patch the mailbox post first, since that was damaged as well. I'll have to replace the post but will have to wait till all the snow is gone and it a bit warmer.
Some Throwback Thursday pics for you guys to laugh at. Me in a brown suede tuxedo for a cousin wedding where I was the ring bearer. My father, myself and my brother out somewhere in Pennsylvania I think. Honestly I'm not sure, I don't even remember the picture. My brother and I on a Bahamas Mamma boat cruise while on vacation in the Bahamas. I know it looks like I'm drunk here, I'm not... just happy. However my brother IS drunk, he puked mightily from all he drank.
I have a sport on my wall that has been begging for piece of artwork...or a clock...or shelves...basically, i's a big empty spot, and it's pissing me off. So I just painted this using a random piece of wood and all the cans of paint that my landlord left in my basement. I had absolutely no inspiration or plan, but I'm pretty sure it turned into a space battle.
47 years ago today my grandfather passed away, it was less then a month after I was born. He was an amazing man, from what everyone has told me. Unfortunately I never really got to meet him, at least he saw me, his first grandchild.
I like it, definitely space battle vibe there. I also like using stuff just lying around when I get a creative urge.
From everything I hear, he was. We went to the National Museum of Play in Rochester NY, the last time we went we got a membership. It's only an hour and half away, so not that bad. We can just jump in the car and go. They have an arcade in the upstairs, all the classic video games from the 80's and 90's and even a few from today. I could spend all day in it. I played Joust, Dig Dug, the Original Star Wars, they even have a four player PacMan, all four play at one time. However this was fun to play.
Sis & I are going through old photos and pictures at mum's place... Look what I found: Me. My great grand dad painted that from a school-photo about fourty-five years ago
^ Trekkiedane, you were a cute kid! Tom, nice photos of your grandfather. I'm so glad you have them, since you didn't get to know him. RoJoHen, definitely a space battle. The red side appears to be winning. Looks like you had fun!
