It started snowing big fluffy flakes about an hour ago and we already have lots from the past couple of weeks. It's forecast to snow most of the day and accumulate about 3-4 inches. Not cold, though, as it's presently -4 Celsius.
31, so not bad, and the weather cannot decide if it's going to rain, snow or clear up. Supposed to be clear and warmer the next couple days, but I don't trust it.
Although Christmas day and boxing day were nice, the 23rd and Christmas Eve as well as last night were wet and windy and we lost our power for a whole five minutes! Off to London now to see some relatives and we're expecting some disruption but not much and we've gotten off lightly compared with other places in the country.
And tonight the wind chill is supposed to be -45. Actual temp of -22. Got as high as 47 yesterday. Gotta love the almost 70 degree swing from yesterday's high to tonight's low.
Wet, windy and cold, and a nice touch of cold and flu myself as the final cherry on the xmas cake. We will miss you 2013. lol
We had an awesome break yesterday with temps in the 40s. Most of the snow melted, though we had a lot, so there's still some on the grass. The break didn't last long, though, as it is now once again -2.
We've had some decent warmth over the last couple of days. That, some salt, and lots of chopping have helped rid most of the driveway of 3 inches of ice.
Grey and chilly today. High of 47F with a low of 40F, but also rather windy, so it feels cooler than it is.
Unusually cold and constant rain for my area in Georgia. I wouldn't mind either if I had a good roof or a fully working septic system but hey you win some and lose some in life.
I never said I was heading for a plane any time soon, it was a plan. But my fathers friend pretty much talked him out of it with talk of really hot weather and some social unrest. We are still looking but we aren't moving anywhere anytime soon.
Cool(ish) and sunny! - In fact it's been the second warmest December since they began recording temperatures.
