TOS: The Doomsday Machine, streamed on Netflix.

Scotty's damage control crew consists of two guys in command gold and one in sciences blue. You would think that engineering specialists would either be in red uniforms, or wearing coveralls or jumpsuits of some kind.

The planet killer seems to only be capable of travelling at sublight speed, yet Decker (and Kirk too, initially) saw the need to destroy it quickly before it reached the next star system, which we later find out is Rigel. That journey probably would have taken years or maybe decades at sublight speed though..

Anyway, doesn't matter, Doomsday is still a great episode and one of my all time favorites.

Haven't seen this one in a while and wonder why I hadn't seen it sooner. Really interesting episode. Still trying to imagine a whole universe jammed solid with Enterprises. Worst traffic jam ever!

Personally, I think a bajillion Enterprises would be the BEST traffic jam ever!

"Parallels" is one of the best episodes of not only Season 7 but the last couple of seasons of TNG, period.

Madness! But a good kind of madness. Good to see Diana Muldaur again... Also convenient that the Medusans were kind enough to call themselves (or allow themselves to be called) after beings in ancient Greek tales. ;)

The only time star trek has ever made me jump was in that episode.
