    It's no less practical, and certainly looks more protective, than her costume in the comics. So I'd say that it's an improvement while not losing the point of the original, which was, as ClayinCA indicated, to be sexy first and practical last. Either way she looks like a hooker, but in the movie she looks like a sleeker and more stylish hooker.

    I wasn't gonna go there.... :o
