Miracles, Invasion and Jericho need to be added to that list. And Surface - dopey show but I kinda liked it.

    Agree with original list---
    Wonderfalls
    Alien Nation
    Eerie, Indiana.

    Agree with suggestion---
    Brimstone

    Instead I'd list---
Dead Again (well, technically it ran two seasons but Bryan Fuller was run off at the end of season one.)
    Miracles
    The Book of Daniel
    Strange Luck
    Threshold
and from way out of left field, Honey West (a show with an ocelot named Bruce should not have been cancelled!)

Are these supposed to be recently cancelled series? I only ask because isn't the elephant in the room here Star Trek? Yes, it was eventually brought back as a film series, and spin-offs were produced, but...

I suppose I could have put down Farscape, but it was only going to go one more season anyways, and we got Peacekeeper Wars in the end (and now a few webisodes...maybe).

Four seasons and a miniseries is close enough to being a 'real' series length for me to count Farscape. Anything with less than two full seasons qualifies.

    Here would be mine:

    1. Firefly
    2. Space: Above and Beyond
    3. Farscape
    4. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe (cancelled mid way through season two of the 2002 series)
    5. Babylon 5: Crusade
    6. John Doe
    7. Angel
    8. Jericho
    9. First Wave (not sure if it was cancelled or not but would have loved to have another season. Or at least a sequel series called the Second Wave)
    10. Early Edition (again not sure if it was cancelled or discontinued but its in my list)

    Earth 2.

Now and Again is the biggest waste for me. Absolutely brilliant show with enormous potential. And it'll probably never appear on DVD. :scream: :(

Farscape should definitely have been allowed to run its course, but I'm happy with what we got.

The Crow: Stairway to Heaven. I am so :scream::scream::scream: that they ended the show on a literal cliffhanger!

Otherworld. I wanted to see that wrapped up. Gonna get it if it ever comes to DVD.
I can't think of any others at the moment.

I must not watch much television, because the only shows I was a weekly viewer of as aired, and thus bothered by the cancellation of was:

    1. Firefly
    2. Invasion
    3. Journeyman

Can't believe I forgot this but I will add Starhunter 2300 which is the second season of Starhunter a Canadian co-produced sci-fi series about bounty hunters.

I would agree with most of the list in the OP, but I would add Earth 2, Dead Like Me, and Jeremiah. I thought all three had the potential to go for at least a three seasons.

I think the list from Sci-Fi wire is designed to cover series cancelled after their first season. Star Trek, Farscape, Jericho (cancelled but then brought back for a limited second season) and The 4400 all went beyond season one. That's not to say they weren't cancelled before their time, they just had a better, longer shot.
