What Did You Have For Dinner Last Night?

A1 Steak Burger from Whataburger and onion-rings.

Slow cooked pot roast, with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Coke.

 

A pretty good burrito with some zesty sauce.

Fish and broccoli

Peanut butter and banana sandwich.

 

Pizza and Coke.

 

Pork with garlic sauce, over pasta, and salad.

 

Roast chicken with dipping sauce, boiled potato, cauliflower, and a salad.

 

Auntie, that sounds good. I love garlic =) Could I have the recipe, please?


I was too lazy for cooking and had a takeaway dinner from my neighbours who run a little Asian restaurant:

And I had a nice surprise: I usually buy 2 fortune cookies with my meal but this time I didn't. When the cook handed me my dinner he grabbed 2 fortune cookies from the basket and gave them to me with a smile. That totally made my day . What a nice guy!

 

A sandwich with turkey. ham, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and lots of pepper.

 

Left over pizza and Coke. Apple Crumble for desert.

Last night, hubby made burgers, corn and potato salad.

The burgers were from Whole Foods--my was Theo's marinade (which was AWESOME) and his was bacon-cheddar.

 

the first pear of the season (it is getting autumn-ish here), with Roquefort and a slice of ciabatta.

 

French onion soup, a baquette with brie, tomatoes from the garden, and balsamic vinegar, and a glass of red wine.
