Leftover Mexican casserole for the third time this week. It's given me the farts each time, ugh.

I've been eating out a fair bit one way or another over the last few days. Why is it I can go weeks with no social engagements beyond drinks or a bite to eat with friends and then I have a week of going out every night? Can't they space them out? I'm exhausted. And I'm on call for work tomorrow, so no rest for the wicked.

Today was the first day in about four or five that I've actually had a meal at home. Fish & chips.

A couple of pizzas. Everyone was too tired to cook anything.

Well I went to a soccer game and had three beers and a jumbo hot dog last night. Then at my friends house we ordered pizza and chicken wings from Pizza, Pizza.

Hosted our annual huge assed family party yesterday. Went with a Greek theme for dinner: Souvlaki (chicken cuz we don't have a lot of lamb eaters) with my special tzatziki, Greek salad (no lettuce), orzo salad, stuffed grape leaves, pepperonccinis, grilled marinated artichoke hearts, lots of olives ... and French Fries, of course. Because, much to our surprise when we were there, in Greece, everything comes with French Fries. For dessert, it was Baklava, of course (bought, not made, I must confess.)

Oh, and a little ouzo as a nightcap. ;)

^ Sounds droolworthy. Baklava is a lovely sweet, but my mum made a great galaktoboureko.

    (relatively simple to make, too)

Coincidentally enough, these are the two options I'm debating with today. Feeling too lazy to actually cook anything.

^Laziness and depression are bad for the diet. I want to have dinner at TrekkieMonster's house! That sounds marvelous! Though, when I was a kid I used to get baklava and balaclava confused all the time, which made for some mildly amusing "What did you do during Christmas Vacation?" themes.

Yesterday was a monumental meal. A full rack of Memphis BBQ ribs, French fries and cole slaw. Also enjoyed about three brown ales.

I ended up opting for secret hidden option number 3 - McDonald's. Tried out their M burger, which was a big disappointment. It actually tastes vaguely healthy, which is so NOT why I go to Maccy D's.

Next time I'm sticking to the quarter-pounder with cheese.

I'm glad the wool is no longer pulled over your eyes.

A horrible hamburger and some greasy overcooked tater tots from Sonic. I should never have stopped there and went to Applebees like I intended.

Went with a friend to a local Mexican joint. Had two chile rellenos, rice, and beans. Then went to Village Inn for pie after catching Hungover on the big screen.
