That hamster has spousal privilege! You can't force him to admit to anything we may or may not have done beautifully!

I wouldn't say cute, but I would agree that they were cool looking.

    Those aren't mutually exclusive.

    I"M DEFENDING MONSTERS!

    (bugger.)

The Hirogen wrote that WWII program.

(Could have been Kim actually? Kim wrote a program where B'Elanna accidentally got pregnant while screwing intelligence out of Nazis? Methinks despite everything falling apart that Kim is still bitter about that Klingon *&^% stealing his boyfriend! ...Or it all oculd have been randomly generated? Nah. There was probably a Hirogen as the head writer.)

The Hirogen chose the personalities and the agendas and drives and back stories of all those strong female characters.

    "Sigh"

The Hirogen hate a sure thing.

If they thought women were inferior prey, they wouldn't hunt them.

I never said they thought women were inferior prey. Believing a female shouldn't be in charge of a starship and refusing to hunt a female are not the same thing. I'm not saying it actually makes sense for them to look at it that way, but it's still totally possible that they do.

I looked for the words "female", "woman" and "women" in the killing game and Flesh and blood.

None of those three words were in the killing game, which would suggest that sex was not an issue in this two parter, considering Janeway talked her enemy ass-backwards towards her enlightened point of view, and then stomped on his successor replacement until he sued for peace because Kathy was too awesome for him.

    Flesh and Blood however...

Even a little sexism is still intolerable?

However the beta could have just called Janeway "female" because he couldn't remember her unimportant name?

Only psychopaths and Hillbillies know the Christian names of their dinner.

I'm sure some one can look up the episode for tone which is not conveyed in the transcript, but the word 'female' is probably more so said with kazon contempt than Ferengi lust, or some middle ground in the spectrum.

That was the whole point behind "The Killing Game"
The Alpha Male Hirogen tells Janeway the reason why he captured Voyager was to find a way to make the hunters hunt in one location and not be so spread out in that region of space. He tells Janeway that the Hirogen are dying out: IOW, the males are to far away from the females and too preoccupied with hunting to mate.

    Agreed.

Sexism. Only ugly women worry about it.

    But ugly women try harder.

You can brag about bedding a beautiful woman, but you can actually enjoy sleeping with an ugly woman.

    natures cruel trick.

As far as voyager villains go they were pretty good adversaries. Compared to the Kazon the Hirogen are the Kingons or Roumulans.

Sure the Hirogen wasn't just referring to her as 'sweet'art' 'princess' or 'darlin'' the whole time?

You're talking about Han Solo arn't you?

I suppose when you look like a 22 year old Harrison ford it doesn't matter if a short angry bearded troll is writing your copy.
