755 still stands in the hearts of many as the home run record. Baroid Bonds is a cheat. Aaron knows it, but he's too much of a gentleman to call him out.
Happy Birthday Hank, you're still the home run king in my eyes! Great story about Hank Aaron: It was the 1998 All Star Game in Denver, and Ken Griffey Jr. was trying to back out of the Home Run Derby and the fans were chanting for Griffey to hit. My wife and I were sitting in the right field stands and could see right into the 1st base dugout (with binoculars) where Aaron was sitting with Griffey and clearly giving him a lecture, and Griffey didn't look happy about it. Griffey ended up the Home Run Derby that year.
Hank is too cool. He still hangs around the Braves clubhouse. He was at both the Uptons' press conferences.
