I just found the final official blurb for The Soul Key will looking around on the S&S site, and since I don't think this one has been posted yet, here it is:
Definitely sounds good to me. I can't wait.
If it has been posted already feel free to close the thread.

That mostly translates into exactly what I was expecting to happen, with enough wiggle room left to surprise me.

I'm out of a job and saving pennies, so Star Trek is my only vice.

I can't wait for this to come out.

Any word on whether they're replacing that cover? Most of the novels look gorgeous now, but that one just looked so cheap - especially compared to the one for The Never Ending Sacrifice.

I'm sure that's the final cover art. But I agree the artwork for Never-Ending Sacrifice is great!

Can't wait till both books are on my shelf.

Definitely. I'd love to have a full poster-sized version of the NES cover without the text! As for the TSK cover...

I love the cover. Anything with the wormhole on it will look awesome and its nice to see the Orb fragment (paghvaram/soul key) from "The Storyteller" on the cover.

The Soul Key's cover is good, but TNES' is awesome. I'd love it to be in the 2010 Ships of the Line calendar.

IMO the design for the Soul Key cover is pretty good, it's just the exacution that could have been better. Which is rather disapointing since most of the recent covers, including TNES, have been incredible. Same goes for Losing the Peace, I mean what is up with Picard's pants?

I'm really looking forward to getting Soul key and Never ending Sacrifice's cover is some of the best ds9 cover art I've seen in along time.:bolian: I wonder who the artist is ,who did that terrific artwork.

Only 7.99? Booo! I'll be it'll be 13$ here or something. Should get one where you are... ;) But so worth it, I've been on the edge of my seat for this and TN-ES!!!!!

Tho the blurb is what I expected...

If there is a void in the universe... and two possible outcomes... does that mean that the MU's IG should be the Emissary? I thought maybe Vaughn would stick around and help MU Sisko... not that it makes a lick of sense to speculate now. But that's something I hadn't considered.

Sadly that blurb doesn't tell us anything new if you've read the prior two books.

True... but how often do they, really?

I'd rather not know, I think. And keep bouncing off the walls in a mix of excitement and fear.
