Not structure like a building, structure like a pattern. There's a sort of afterimage or echo of something in the general soup of the universe, and Destiny is trying to find the original picture. If you ever read Carl Sagen's "Contact," it's like the bit with pi at the end of the book, except hopefully something of more practical, nuts-and-bolts use than that "Yo! Somebody was around before the start of your universe, bitches, and we tagged you constants like a wet bit of sidewalk!"
Great chatting with you guys, I think I'll make a point of being here again next Tuesday. There's still life in this show so hopefully it can avoid cancellation. I'll see some of you on Friday night for Smallville.
Rating this a 9/10 for the lame ass set up for what's happening next episode. Everything else was great.
This episode gets a 10, yes a 10, it was awesome in so many ways, i'll quickly summarize 1.) Real science here, calculating when to jump to get back to Destiny 2.) The space scene with them jumping back looked visually awesome, and Rush saving Young, awesome 3.) Finally revealing the bridge 4.) Young beating Rush, but then calming down, sitting there and just talking to each other without interruption 5.) The mission finally revealed, what a head scratcher, its really big stuff 6.) Eli and Ginn, awesome 7.) Eli showing confidence, his calculating their jumps back to Destiny, he knew what to do and was already on it, plus earlier when he figured out the Bridge 8.) Them finding the bridge, and everyone being on it 9.) The girl flying the ship, and hitting the other one lol 10.) The scene at the end with all of them on the Bridge, finally in control of the ship, commanding it 11.) No music montage at the end, it was a very strong ending, the cut out when he entered the room, you know what's coming, powerful 12.) This looks like a real turning point between Rush and Young, I hope we see them be mutual partners now in this mission, friendly, and backing each other up, I would love for them to be buddy buddy now, what a change that would be welcomed Other little things too I liked, so many to talk about really This was a great episode, I wish they could have all been like this I don't want SGU to get canceled now, I want to see this mission play out, they've said they know what the ending for the series is, and I want to see it all now This is the first time really I've been this excited about SGU since the premier It's like it got its second wind I want more, next week looks good
