My best wishes to all Bostonians, stay safe!
I hope the situation gets solved soon, so you can back to some sort of normality there.

Thanks. Normalcy would be nice. My company closed down all its offices today, including the ones in Quincy and Hingham. The only people working were people like me who work from home. So far everything that's been happening has been on the other side of Boston from me, so I feel pretty safe (although I had a flurry of sirens go by today that made me a little nervous).

The office in North Quincy was open, so I was at work.

I don't know why they decided to close Quincy and Hingham. If they had kept them open, the day would not have been so hectic for us e-workers.

I wish I could have gone to Boston tonight, walk into a local bar and buy everyone a round of drinks.

I'm proud of how the people handled it. They don't call it "Greater Boston" for nothing.

I hung out around Boston's government center today. There are still a lot of cops around, but the area was mobbed with people. Everybody seemed relieved and happy to be out and about.
