Maybe they still have Borders where I am?

    (They don't.)

Has Barry ever addressed the fact that DC comics thinks that he's from Krypton?

There's a radio station where I live that still proclaims it's the "New Eagle 107.3," despite the fact that (a) being a classic rock station, they don't play new music and (b) they've been saying that for the 10 or so years since they changed format into a classic rock station.

3 years on with the "New 52" doesn't seem so egregious in comparison.

We need to know it's the new 52, so when the inevitable reboot happens, we can say, "remember the Old New 52? It was way better than the new new 52."

I enjoyed how the first arc of Aquaman & the Others wrapped up in issue #5 last week.
Wish we weren't instantly doing the Future thing. The team is really just coming together.

Swamp Thing continues to be a fun book and Lady Weeds is proving to be quite the thorn in Alec's side. I rarely see much discussion for Swamp Thing, there are still a few here reading it as well, yes?

I enjoyed Multiversity #1. I actually understood what I was reading the first time through  And for once they paired Morrison with a good artist too.

So ridiculous that in late 2014 we're finally getting the follow up to 2008's Final Crisis :wtf:

Jumped into Batman v1-3 after falling out of comics (TPB anyway) after No Man's Land.

Interesting stuff. Considering v4 but not too sure about Joker having his face ripped off. Seems gruesome.

What's really crazy, is that this is playing out themes that Morrison has been toying with since his Animal Man run back in the 80's.

I wonder if President Superman is Sunshine Superman a few years down the road?

I just read Multiversity # 1. I like the concept but I just have a hard time getting through Morrison's stuff. I guess his style just isn't my cup of tea.

I did like the Savage Dragon parody in the character of Dino-Cop though.

Yeah, its great. Its really the first Swamp Thing I've gotten into (although I've never read any of Alan Moore's run).

    It's probably too late now.

You're old and jaded and seen too much.

30 years ago Swampthing was the Rolls Royce of comics.

Now, it's still that same car, but it's been under a tarp in your grampa's garage for 30 years.

Well I assume Erik Larsen would know if it was a real character or not and he is under the impression it is a parody.

I flipped through Multiversity and it did not appeal to me on a spot read.
The art is good but this is a pass for me at the moment.

It feels like a rehash of previous morrison material to me.

That's because he's revisiting a few things from previous runs...but a lot of it's original as well. It's also kind of a loose sequel to "Final Crisis" plus it's very meta so that might put some fans off of it, but it's one of his most ambitious projects to date. I've been waiting for it since it was first announced five years ago.

Well I was going to pick up the John Romita Sr. variant of Superman #34 today but it turns out it is an incentive copy. I am not about to drop $60 for a variant cover.
