    What if they're screwing with us and
    is the name of either a celestial body or another ship or even another character named 'Khan'
    In one of the spots, BC's character is labeled as Harrison on a similar screen. Just saying......... ;)

    For the vast majority of people who would see that ad, one, might not notice this and two, might not know who Khan is.

    Yes you are right. Surnames are always displayed on information screens, Except when there is more then one persons having the same surname, then their initial of their first and middle name will be display along with their surname.

    Did anyone take any screencaps of the part where the Enterprise falls vertically through the clouds? That was fantastic, and I wanted to see it again, but now that they've pulled the ad, I can't find it.
