I always liked The Living End, I remember Rove was a big fan and used to promote them a lot. I am always punk smitten.
360 is a Melb hip hop guy.. got some interesting things to say. Why Australian rapper 360 has declared war on homophobia in hip hop I like his earlier stuff better than his current stuff. [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VbS4DhZkbOg[/yt]

^ Their Unit album is easily their best work. Right now listening to You Am I's Hourly Daily. Probably one of the best Australian Albums of the 90s. You Am I is one of those bands that really should be mega huge everywhere.
"Electric Blue" is probably my favourite Icehouse song. [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUFOVu1CurM[/yt]
Can we pop cross the Tasman sea for a minute? Please? [yt]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LFasFq4GJYM[/yt] I do enjoy this young 'un, she's lovely and I am a total sucker for a deep woman voice.
Hmm, thread goes quiet, time to post something. And because I'm so old, and dion't think Aus music from the 70s gets enough recgnition... Madder Lake was a prog rock band from the 70s, but they had a Top 40 hit with this, I've been meaning to put it up for a while. [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9mqO_XERG_4[/yt] There is a film clip of them performing this live, but they jam on a bit as some prog bands do. This is a single. And I thought this was great when I was ~14. The drumming is so lazy and so tight at the same time. [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=86GSZFQ4nKQ[/yt] So, something with a proper film clip, underrated Aussie band... [yt]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=maQC6J8nPks[/yt]
