Jetfire already posted links to the costume on the previous page...as he stated correctly, the suit was a modified version of the version from "Superman Returns". We saw a physical form of the costume in a vault in the Fortress of Solitude several times during the final season. Interesting plot details. It will be interesting to see how Miller writes Lex now that he has returned. I'm guessing the others mentioned in the update blurb, could be the Legion of Doom, who IIRC were introduced or implied in the final season. I don't remember now. Also interesting that it says we'll be seeing "new allies". Perhaps the introduction of more future Justice League members? Would they drop the Bat-Embargo for this? I'm guessing not, since this would be considered continuation of the canon. I'm happy that Brian and Kelly don't appear to be involved in this at all, I'm sure though Miller has their blessing since this is probably stuff they did talk about.

^ What do you mean there is no information yet? The article Ethros quoted clearly states this is a weekly digital series.

I've got to admit that I'm sort of interested in this, as I did enjoy the show when it was good. The last two seasons, not so much, but the show did have it's moments. At least this project won't be encumbered by Welling's wooden acting or his limited range of facial expressions. Plus, there's the added bonus of being able to bring back characters, even if the actors aren't available. So it's all good.

I can't help but wonder if Lois will be drawn looking like she's had botox injections and a boob-job.

At least there will be a damn good excuse as to why Lois's face doesn't move in the comic world. ;)

I wonder how long each "chapter" is, and how big the monthly will ultimately be.

I don't think that is what Broc means. It has been mentioned in the articles already in the thread that the first "series" is eleven issues. My guess is they will divide the season in half. Eleven issues, weekly, then hiatus just like the show, then another eleven issues for a total of twenty two "episodes".

Gary Frank draws Tom Welling as Superman almost exactly like he drew Superboy or Young Clark in Secret Origin.

oh, I see, I got from the article that if each "episode" is 10-12 chapters, then the episodes would be three print issues.

might have read it wrong though.

ncc had it right to what I was wondering. From what I can tell from an interview linked in the New52 thread, the first "episode" will end up being something like twelve weekly chapters or roughly three issues long.

My mistake. I just assumed each episode would equal one episode...but yeah that's probably naive of me to equate the two.

In the lap of squalor I assure you.
But we talked about Smallville because it was a wanton disappointment drilling towards new catastrophic depths of painful cruelty each week.

    We survived Smallville.

But what if... This comic is good?

Besides the truly wrong thing with Smallville was that it was too cheap to keep a third tier of supporting actors on set for involved subplots, and in a comic there's absolutely no reason to be cheap.

    Gods.

In the comic they could actually afford to have Terrance Stamp make an Appearance... Unless he sued after he saw how much money they were making on T-Shirts plastered with his likeness, which is "unlikely"?

    Oh.

Is Zod running for President again?
