I sort of agree. Craig's Bond has seemed to have graduated from the "blunt instrument" to the smooth Bond we expect.
I prefer more of the blunt instrument since it's more like the guy in the books. Never cared much for the Hollywood Bond.
Bond--Suave in the suit! Eve--tough and kick-butt, certainly "thinks she's Bond's equal". Severine--very--and I mean very!--"glamorous and enigmatic".... And Silva--a stern yet self-satisfied look of, to coin a phrase, "No, Mr. Bond...I expect you to DIE." Every new bit of info makes me more and more psyched to see this thing! It can't come soon enough....
Bond's tux is actually blue with black lapels, when you look closely. Very retro. Almost - dare I say it - a bit Austin Powers! But I like it.
Only one man can pull off a blue tux... Roger Moore! I like those pics. Severine looks really glam in that dress, but sheesh how long are her fingers/nails! Those are like wicked stepmother/evil Queen fingers! Also why is Bond slouching! Stand up straight, Commander!
That seems to be the way its being touted, but going on the trailer I'm not so sure. I wonder if its going to be more along the lines of The Man With the Golden Gun, with Eve=Goodnight and Severine=Andrea Anders?
Well--I suppose I'm in the Severine camp, for "hottness". (That dress...DANG--that DRESS!) Still, Eve has her appeal--even though I remember Naomi Harris only as Tia Dalma from the Pirates films.... However--I'm still wondering if she'd shot Bond on purpose.... BTW--is it just me...or does anyone else thing that if Craig were to have opened his eyes WIDE, in that photo...he'd be almost a dead-ringer for Connery?
