Lately I've been a little nostalgic for my collector days, so I thought this thread might be fun.

If you're a collector of fabulous things Trek...what do you collect? A little bit of everything, or is there something particular you love, like figures, or ships, or cards, or comics?

Scripts, though I've slowed on that in the last few years.

I started collecting ST books as a kid. The 60-cent prices are from 1970:

I also have tons of novels not pictured.

This thread is going to be bad for my wallet, I can already tell. I've seen something in almost every pic that I used to have, and may have to acquire again!

I've always wanted to collect scripts, but never did get started with it.

I also collect ST music on CD. Here are just some highlights from the recent "Star Trek Renaissance," plus the first TOS box set from 1992:

:techman: I love Trek music! I have many of the soundtracks on my PC. The Search For Spock and the 2009 reboot are my faves.

Used to have most of the Playmates Toys five inch Trek line! Opened them too! But,
when a collection becomes more of a burden or chore, time to thin the herd!

    "That being said..."

For those interested, the here's the link for the entire Ready Room photo shoot! A few months behind, so there's a few things missing from what's there now.

I tried the link you provided, but it says this album is private.

And more ....I so need my own Ready Room! You have inspired me! My wallet will hate you later.

LOVE the comics table, did you create that yourself?

Thank you! It's the culmination of collecting crap for decades!

The table I "decoupaged" myself. First attempt at that. I think I'd be better at it if I decide another attempt someday. For the larger pub table, I'd like to put various movie trading cards (old school Topps and the like) on it and seal it with a clear coat. That'll take some planning and testing before I try my hand at that. I'm not a handy person!

I'm not terribly handy either, but I love that table! In the room that would have to be my Trek room, which is now my art studio, I have a long countertop....I'd love to cover the countertop with something like that. The trading cards is a great idea!

Can't say I'm collecting Trek stuff anymore. But I do have all the movies and all the series except Voyager on DVD. I have soundtracks for TWOK, FC and ST09, a number of books including the Chronology, the TSG tech manual, Scott's Guide to the Enterprise and The Star Trek Compendium by Allan Asherman, the two Countdown comics, and I still have a number of model kits and toys. I also have Star Trek Legacy in the XBox 360, the FASA role-playing game plus a few supplements, and the Decipher role-playing game and two supplements.

I think that's it. I used to have a few more books and models but I threw them away for space, and also because the internet provides most of that information anyway.

The elusive Star Trek VI blanket?!
Besides Chris Pine, who else autographed your Trek '09 framed display?
