Janeway wasn't only just a lesbian in the killing game.

I think Doctor Who said it best...

But they've got all the WWII info out of VOY's databanks.. surely there's more sociological tidbits in it than Neelix having baguettes.

    Klingon baguettes?

I'm trying to imagine a klingon baker?

"MY BREAD RAISES FASTER THAN YOUR BREAD!"

Besides does it really count as baking when the pastries and bread are 92 percent meat and other animal biproducts?

Yes, yes, meat can be baked and pies and sausage rolls, etc etc...

I doubt Klingons eat frail stuffs like bread. Any grain products would only serve to hold the meat together.

But if the holoprogram has baguettes, singing, pregnancy and the desert peach then it must surely have sex as an accompaniment to those things.

They were running two scenarios at the same time.

In the beginning, Neelix was with the Klingons, not the French. By the time he got to France his original personality had been restored and the battle was all but won.

In all possibility Neelix might have eaten some of Voyagers crew or Hirogen after victory in battle before he came to his senses, if not waged an impregnation rampage to calm his surplus bloodlust after the action is done.

How many Voyager crew actually died? Since there were no female hirogen any post heart eating rampages Neelix went on would have had lasting repercussions for his relationship with the crew, unless he stuck to holograms.

Russian roulette with a Talaxian penis?

There are plenty of NPCs but it's a double blind, no one knew they were fake or anyone else was fake, although we're sure the doctor would have maintained any contraceptive regimes unless some of the crew preferred against contraceptive for some perhaps moral or religious reasons... Oh and half the crew was confined to quarters, probably including Naomi.

We saw one (might have been two?) crewmen pronounced in the sickbay where the doctor pulled a sheet over their face because it was time to give up, and how can we be sure that we didn't see any female Hirogen? The differences between genders might be too slight for a human being to notice... Although one of the Alphas did make a sexist remark to Janeway, so maybe it was just as big a boys club as it seemed.

Although if the problem was that the Hirogen were too busy hunting that they forgot to breed, what sort of shit poor practice run was this that they didn't have any girls on board to help with the whole saving the species prospect?

In Hunters they say that great trophies make the men envy the one who obtained it and the women pursue him. I think it's a safe bet that part of their dying out problem is that the men only come back to hub ships or whatever when they have something to show for it, to gain female attention. We never heard any female pronouns.

I bet the women sit around talking about their male's hot trophies.

This reminds me the other day I was at a train station and two teenage girls were next to me talking and this was their literal conversation:

Girl 1: OMG did you see him, he is soooo hot.

Girl 2: And his car is amazing!

Girl 1: I love his car! He looks soooo hot in it!

But the bigger, expensive, faster and shinier a car is, the smaller and more impotent the driver's penis is.

When a guy spends 7 grand on the sound system for his 700 dollar car you know he's an asshole.

Pschological car rooted issues for women, is all about what they name their car.

That explains most of today's posts! ;)

If she was thinking that... it was ONLY because a certain American Captain had yet to 'enter the city'.

CAPTAIN MILLER/CHAKOTAY: You're a gung ho kind of gal, aren't ya?
    JANEWAY/KATRINE: Does that bother you?
CAPTAIN MILLER/CHAKOTAY: Nope. Just not used to it, that's all. The girls back home are a little different.
JANEWAY/KATRINE: I guess when it comes to my people's safety, this girl tends to get a little gung ho. :)

How was B'Elanna's holographic belly attached? Was it fastened onto her, bonded to her flesh or was it just hovering there like a balloon with a contentious case of static cling?

PARIS: What do you think, a boy or a girl?
    SEVEN: It's a holographic projection.
TORRES: Unfortunately, it's a very good projection. I feel twenty kilos heavier. It even kicks.

Now she doesn't say it feels like it is inside her so I'm thinking it feels like a huge weight on her abdomen with kicking pushes against her. It would be very creepy though if under her clothes there was a holographic skin illusion swollen with weight attached to her body.

And yet that's exactly what Andy Dick wanted from the Doctor.

Okay, can everyone agree that her hair looks absolutely great like this? I kinda wish they had kept this, especially compared to that helmet-style she wore later. This was short, but cute, and definitely NOT old.

I like all her hair, but I'm a season 4 girl. Season 1 bun is my least favorite but oddly I thought it was da bomb when I first watched Voyager.

That was a good episode. If they had found a way to somehow lop off some stuff, or even play it straight, I would have watched a 3 hour movie version on it.

Janeway boinked a hologram- I kind of liked that. Because no other captain would seen doing that--maybe Riker, but the others were to high and mighty.

One of things I like about Janeway.

Janeway falling in love with alien who turned out to be using her--didn't get it as much, he played her, and she couldn't see it? Nah, Janeway would have seen through his ruse- somehow.

Chakotay and Janeway-there was a awkward tension in that situation. Alone, possibly for the rest of their lives, sharing a room, all that sexual tension--I wished they would kissed and got close to doing something, then stop themselves, and promise themselves to forget the whole thing--ala Tasha and Data.
