Well, anyone "exotic" would do, e.g. Michael Ansara or Leonard Nimoy.

Heck, Boris Karloff was occasionally cast as an Indian over the course of his career!

So, basically anyone but an actual Native American.

For the most part, yes. It gets even stranger when the Native American cast member is playing a non-Native American, usually a Hispanic of mixed heritage. There was one such in Predator.

The Invaders: "The Vice" - the lovely Janet MacLachlan as an ordinary woman NOT wearing a sci fi uniform or harem costume!

In honor of James Garner, anyone want to get the ball rolling compiling all the Trek guest star appearances on Maverick and Rockford?

^ I've thought about it. I've posted a couple form Rockford, here and
here. I'm trying to think of any two-for-ones, first; none come immediately to mind but I'll see what I can come up with.

ETA: Sherry Jackson was in a couple of Mavericks, I watched one last week. But one was a Bart and one was a Beau, no Bret.

^ "Torg" from ST III was in the Maverick film.

So was Henry Darrow (Admiral Savar and Kolopak), William Marshall (Richard Daystrom), Don Stark (Nicky the Nose from ST:FC) and Bert Remsen (DS9's Kubus Oak).

Here are a few from The Rockford Files...

Malachi Throne, bearded heavy with goon

I think Glenn Corbett was also on THE ROCKFORD FILES, as an FBI agent if I recall correctly.

I must be less familiar with Michael Ansara's career than I thought. I always thought his mustache was ubiquitous. He must have only worn it for those roles I know him from the best, like Kang and Kane.:vulcan: Hmm. Must be the K.

Was Ansara naturally that bald? I only remember seeing him "covered."

And, slight nitpick - that's plaid, not check - Check? Check!

Edit: Oops! I think it might be considered tweed.

Indeed he was, Season 5: "The Battle-Ax and the Exploding Cigar."

    I believe he was.

Tweed is somewhat rough wool woven in various patterns. That pattern is called "houndstooth check," done there with several colors. Another pattern sometimes called "check" is gingham, like Dorothy's dress in the Wizard of Oz. BTW the pattern of Corbett's suit above is called windowpane!

Thanks! Rockford was one of the first "grown-up" shows I really got into as a kid.

Finally, a two-for one, John Fiedler and Logan Ramsey. Blurry but they're running in all their shots together:

And two ladies from season four:

Arlene Martel with a little different credit.

    Barbara Babcock.

Yeah, the show ended the year I was born (1980) but I still caught it on reruns as a little kid and recently rewatched the whole series. Very watchable stuff, especially if you can ignore the 70s fashions a bit or hell, revel in them!

The other night, I caught Paul Carr in the second Columbo pilot "Ransom for a Dead Man" (1971). It looks like he may have had a thing for second pilots! ;)
