I'm still here. (Trekker4747 when not under a Halloween name) with 92,000 posts, currently the poster with the second most number of posts. (listed.)

    Been here... Sheesh. 11 years.

    :(

I finally passed the decade mark this past summer. If I stay here five more years, I'll have been a member for half of my total lifetime.

And after all that time, the thing I remember most is that goddamn dancing badger cartoon.

I remember the bouncing sloth head from a long time back. I just wish I could remember who first posted that and, if it was somebody's avatar, who had it.

I've been here for 11 years. That's a little over a third of my entire life. I darn well better be considered an old timer.

    :techman:

    And I add to that...

From the Ranks/The Week That Was
    Trek Tonight
    Major Barcalow
The Briar Patch (more recent, but worth mentioning)
And of course ELECTRICAL SUPERSTORMS!!!

Also, OmahaStar's website "ISN Anchor Desk" (and it's still up!), where he would create a profile page for you, as well as list your birthday. Click on the links if you want to see some old school TBBS names!

Hmmm. When was the board deletion/migration again? I seem to remember something along those lines (memories not what it used to be xD) so that could mean I've been here longer than the 10 years this board states. Man I feel old.

I remember setting up an irc channel at one point and ending up doing nothing but Trek trivia in there for a while lol.

Any of the old LoNAF members still around? :D

whoa. Omahastar's site. that is amusing xD http://www.isnanchordesk.com/trekbbs/pix/kgibsonuk.html

Hmmm, I was 21 when that page was setup now which means I've been a member for 11+ years. Oh my!

I think Flukie was heavily involved in the sloth avatars during the summer of 2003, thanks to the then upcoming "Xindi" story arc that (I guess?) involved a species of sloth aliens, or some such thing. I dunno, I had stopped watching by that point. Anyway, the point is, if Flukie didn't *make* the sloth head avatars, he might at least know who did. He made quite a few for me back then too.

ETA: Beaten to it. I guess I was being too SLOTHY.

Ah. Thanks guys. It does kind of sound like a Flukie idea when you think about it. ;)

I do remember that one of our female posters used that sloth avatar with a pink bow on its head, but unless one of us is a Bruce Lee at Google Fu I don't know if we'll ever remember who had the pink hair bow sloth.

It was cute as hell, though.

Why am I thinking Blablover5. I'm pretty sure she had a couple that wasn't of a black lab once in a while when she still posted here. She's from Nebraska where they have those :)

Hah, I still have a zip file that Hunter X released at one point that contains a bunch of those. Looks like it has episodes 1-9, Admirals in Space, and a couple Christmas specials.

    Nope, not at all. :shifty:

I signed on on Dec. 29, 2002. Does that make me an old-timer?

I don't remember the Electrical Superstorms, but I do remember the whole Dragon ad that was on the boards for a while. God that was annoying.

Also, if we're going to talk oldtimers, I would be remiss to not mention 4 people (One of whom might still post here but I don't know)

    Kor
8-4-7-2 - One of the more opinionated posters I remember
Hammer - Had an unhealthy crush on Gates McFadden
Good Will Riker - Probably the only one I know who liked Riker with no beard.

    Those were the days.

We signed up two days apart and for pretty much the same reasons.

    I was 29 when I registered and in 10 days I'll be 41.

    Mine's not. :P

Member number does indeed go up sequentially, so the lower the number, the earlier the reg date. It's not much good as a precise gauge, though, since a lot of long-inactive and never-active accounts were purged with the move from UBB.threads to vBulletin. (My member # was originally 15114, but since early 2008 it's been #1490.)

The longtime wearer of the disco-lights head-bobbing sloth avatar was mcmac, I'm pretty sure, although Flukie might have had a hand in making it that way - I just don't recall. It seems the animation didn't survive the software change, though.

Also remembering Miss Thang's "Slothura" av, which originated during the same ENT forum Sloth Wars.
