Excellent.

Now if you want you can try to quickly complete the Embassy Consumable Broker.
That vendor will make some special, at this point, unknown consumables available to purchase.

After that focus on leveling up the science and engineering tracks of the starbase.
Besides Fleet Marks we mostly need doffs and EC (commodities) to quickly check them off.
We are 6 projects away from unlocking T4 science upgrade and
9 upgrades from engineering.

And after those are completed I really think we should push to complete the Spire. Because in about a month we should have another holding to work on.

Yeah, getting a new holding to T1 shouldn't be much of a problem.

But we are at a point where all our grind work really converged now on all those high level upgrades.

We will be busy for weeks to do all those upgrades, which is expensive but also feels rewarding.

The main starbase alone will have us upgrade: Science T4, Engineering T4, Transwarp Conduit IV,Chef, Species Specific Personnel Officers, Bridge officer Trainer

And then the Spire with: Research T3, Operations T3, Spire T3, Spire Tailor

The cooldowns alone will be around 2-3 months.

Thouch I am sure we can squeeze in early levels of a new holding somehow.

Definitely been a grindy, yet rewarding convergence lately. Lots of big projects, but we've been knocking them down at a really good rate, and we've now got 2 completed holdings. Spire is pretty close to going, and Starbase is now at T4. Realistically, we'll keep grinding Starbase, but T5 is a bitch, so it's one we'll just pick at as we go. Once Spire is done, all we'll have to work on is Starbase and the new Delta holding, so should be able to keep those both moving nicely.

Been very expensive lately, but damned good progress. Great work to all those that have been digging deep to complete these projects! We're not a huge fleet, but we're getting pretty high-end with our holdings now due to your hard work.

Has there been any evidence of a new holding coming with the expansion? I can't recall any comments from devs that even makes me think "new holding".

Nothing of substance. A while back one of them posted somehere that they are in brainstorming mode for a new holding, though.

Expecting one with the expansion or shortly after would be logical.

In case anyone is wondering.
The special consumable stuff we just unlocked at the embassy is sold by the chef.

The consumable require 2500 fleet credits per piece and offer different passive and offensive buffs. No provision required.

Hi All,

I have been in STO from the launch, but havent played much recently since after I finished Legacy of Romulus last year. I always get in to play new stuff coming up, and now with the Delta rising expansion seems like I will again spend sime time in game.

I have never been part of any fleet, but I'm curious to try

If you would have me, I would be happy to join the TrekBBS fleets.

My FED toon - Nolak@voniatko is my age old char, mostly thematic and PVE
My ROM-KDF toon - T'Nera@voniatko is my more PvP oriented char.

Both of them would be honored to be part of TrekBBS community.

4 projects away from unlocking the science T4 upgrade with 5 days still on the Starbase upgrade cooldown.
If we concentrate on science now with Marks, Doffs, etc, we can run them back to back.

10 projects away from unlocking the first Spire T3 upgrade in Research.

meanwhile on the KDF, we are 7 tactical projects away on the starbase from unlocking the T3 shipyard upgrade, and then the T3 starbase upgrade.

At the current rate we should have the shipyard upgrade project available by next wednesday.

Nice job, guys. For a pretty small Fleet, really making good progress. Impressed with the KDF side, as that's got even less to draw from. Starbase T3 is a nice goal to achieve there.

Really need a DIL bonus weekend right now, that seems to be our current hangup. Until the new Season comes out, everyone's gotta hold a little back to see what needs to be paid for as well, so tough time to draw too much out of any one person. If everyone grinds a bit and puts in what they can spare, hopefully we can patch it together.

For the upgrades itself,yeah.

Right now doffs are a bit of a hang up ,too. I watch the projects and pretty much everything gets filled instantly except doffs, those stay empty.

if anyone has fleet credits to spare, you can go to the fleet starbase and buy general common white doffs for 500 fleet credits a piece or career specific ones for 750.

Pretty much the only way to get the number of doffs needed in a short time as the academy grinder take sooo long for just a handfull.

contributing a doff to a fleet project gives you a third of the invested credits back, so you can buy more or reduce the cost to 350/500 a piece.

The other problem now is that we have so few leveling projects that it`s difficult to generate fleet credits.

Eventually we need to use the special projects on the starbase that give extra opportunity to contribute.

The problem i have on my feds at the moment is i only have a handful of credits, more than likely not enough to buy buffs for one project. but about 2000 marks i need to turn in.

I usually just use regular old EC. Can find a bunch of the 'crappy' profession DOFFs around 15-20k each, and just spend 500-600k doing that, so there's the 30 or so towards a project. Just a couple days worth of vendor trash, not so bad. FCs are more valuable for buying stuff than EC, hate to grind up FC buying DOFFs.

Once the next couple projects open, should be opportunity to dump in all the fleet marks that have piled up, and we'll be running starbase projects for a long time. I've just resisted opening 'filler' projects on the Mine or Embassy as we don't need the provisions and don't want to waste any DIL. This way, we'll at least quickly fill the Marks bucket once the next couple projects open.

Can I just say how happy I am to be a member of the TBBS fleets? There's a lot of good spirit and cooperation here without any drama or politics. I'm also very grateful for the help on the KDF base from some of the newer members--I've had to cut back on my play time a bit lately, but it's nice to see the holdings still moving along. And I continue to be impressed by the Fed progression.
