I put up our Christmas tree today. If you're wondering why it's so thin, it's a pencil tree. We don't have much space in the apartment, so we had to find something space saving. It does a fine job, though I do prefer full size Christmas trees. My dad said I could put it up whenever I was ready, and I was ready today, so up it went. Sang some Christmas carols, had some fond memories come to mind while I put up decorations, and generally got into the spirit of the season.
We don't do Christmas trees anymore. We had one up when we brought the boys home. That went okay. The next year, not so much.
