Well if the rumors are true and we are getting some kind of a reboot post Secret Wars, then they might not have to worry about what they did.

Everything I've read says the characters are not changing, only the setting. So while the planet Earth is getting mish-mashed, the people living on it are the same ones we've been seeing since the 60s.

The first issue of Howard the Duck that just came out was glorious, I don't know how else to describe it. It was very funny, and I enjoyed every second of it. I've never heard of the writer, Chip Zdarsky, before, but he knocked it out of the park with this. Howard was great, the cameos from other Marvel characters were great, the story was very good and there were some very good jokes. Knowing Marvel this will probably last 5 issues, but I really hope it catches on and gets a decent run.

Based on the quality of this first issue, I think the team up is going to be great.

Re: Marvel Now/ReEvolution Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)

The new Thor is in the Avengers according to Guardians Team Up.

I wonder if she gets a free pass, and preferential sign up because the hammer vouches for her?

In the 80s, in the regular Avengers book, wondering where he was becuase shit had got real and he had been awol, they rang up Iron Man on a video Phone, half way through the conversation, some one asks him "Iron man are you drunk?" and he ends the call there and then. A few years later when Hawkeye was signing up the West Coast Avengers (in the preceeding miniseries to the oingoing) he says to the guy in front of him "I've heard this bodyguard crap before, if you're a body guard, maybe that's fine, but if you're Tony Stark, you can just fuck off." (or words to that effect) Which is when Rhodey takes his gauntlet off to sorta definitively prove that he's not Tony Stark.

My point is that legacies should not get automatic admittance.

Oh. Remember when Damian Wayne, arrived at Titans Tower and thought that he was automatically the new leader because Robin is almost always the team leader?

    Good times.

Who decided that Medusa is the most beautiful woman in the MCU?

I'm fine with that decision, but I'm just wondering if it came from the top or a cable of upstarts are trying to control the bullpen from the cheapseats?

The New Spider-Man vs the Inhumans cross over is hilarious. :)

That's interesting. If the book is written by someone besides Hickman or Rick Remender, I'll definitely try it out, even though I'm not a big fan of the new Ms. Marvel or the new Thor.

Re: Marvel Now/ReEvolution Ongoing Discussion (Spoilers)

Although Gerry Duggan's Nova has been kicking ass, and if he can handle more than one book a month that is excellent news. If on the other hand he is leaving Nova to write Breadbasket Avengers, then that's a little bit sad.

And he's doing the heavy-lifting on the bi-weekly Deadpool. And he had a Bat-book for a while. He can handle the load.

Unlikely. This is suppose to be the flagship Avengers title.

Edit: figures in clockwise direction, Thor, Vision, Nova, Miles, Ms. Marvel and some sort of Iron Man (maybe Rescue).

Not terribly excited about this. I like my Avengers line up to be all A Listers. But it all depends on who's writin'.
