Colours and textures are clearly an improvement. The combadge looks better, too.

Ooo, I might have to go shopping...

I didn't have a problem with the TNG Movie uniforms before, however I have over the last week. The black turned grey! I'll be pleased if this has been fixed.

Ah. So you are that overgrown Ferengi tac I kept running into yesterday? Did you happen to notice a Lirpa swinging Catianin a TWoK Uniform? That would be me.

Pretty much - that, and the colours are a lot better (particularly on the DS9/VOY uniform), although the combadge colours aren't spot-on yet.

I'd say the biggest overall improvement is hardest to see in those screens, but MUCH more noticeable in game - the texture of the black areas is now really close to actual cloth, as opposed to the original version, which was never dark enough to be 'true' black, and had a 'burlap sack' quality to it.

One moar screenie - getting in touch with my 'inner Kirk'...

It's that time, folks - AMOK TIME!! :bolian: Cue the dramatic music...

[EDIT] - one more, that I'm tempted to simply call 'Generations':

Thankfully, you can disable the shield visuals, otherwise she might be easily mistaken for a Terran vessel.

Yeah, this was a terrific episode. Started really well, and the pace never let up from then on.

Some stunning visuals, too - check out the opening space shot:

And the landscapes later on are just breathtaking:

Of course, the real standout was the arena combat - got a decent lirpa and bat'leth, as well as the falchion, which is just COOL.

On a completely unrelated note, it was so gratifying to see my crew take part in the mission in their proper uniforms again - the new fixes really complete the game for me.

Although that said, it wasn't all plain sailing - clearly, using thalaron radiation to boost the transporter output wasn't a great idea, as Ensign Sisek realised far too late:

Whoops! Still, we all had a giggle at his expense while he re-hydrated (...I'm presuming that's how you cure thalaron radiation poisoning!)... :rommie:

Decided Malor deserved a promotion - he's now a freshly-minted Commander, with a new ship to match.

    Meet the Nebula-class U.S.S. Victory (NCC-91805):

Looks pretty cool, no? Named it after Lord Horatio Nelson's ship - the registry is the year of the Battle of Trafalgar, with a '9' slapped in front. ;)

Irina Jurot's been promoted, too - she's Lt. Cmdr. Jurot now. Here she is with Malor, on the Victory's bridge:

"Captain - we've been hit by some kind of electrostatic discharge from the station!"

OK -anyone else getting shades of 'Dune', here?

Love the visuals for the Reman prototype shields - here's the Victory with the new tech installed:

I recommend trying it out on some of the other ship classes if you have it - the NX, Constitution and Delta Flyer look particularly menacing!

I prefer to think of it as over-fed and under-enthused with business. :3

In other news, one of my other toons got stuck in the arena and got a bit hungry while waiting for the gates to open: (Once again, just a thumbnail. Click for larger size.)

    =edit=

I like what the new reman shields do to the hull, but I don't think I'm so keen on it turning some ships into giant, glowing crossword puzzles.

Rather enjoying life with the new Nebula-class ride - looks cool, and has a lot more to offer than the Nova-class, which was starting find itself out of it's depth...

First up, a cool shot of the U.S.S. Victory with all the spotlights and suchlike deactivated:

A rather tense standoff with a Breen patrol - thankfully, things didn't devolve into hostilities...

Back on the bridge - Malor and Duayen enjoying their shiny new uniforms and shiny new interiors:

And finally, there's a new member of the senior staff - Ensign Vaarek from Rigel V. He's already proven himself in the field recently, and certainly adds to an already diverse crew:
